Travel around Dublin
The main options for public transport around Dublin include Dublin Bus, LUAS, Irish Rail and DART. An integrated travel card, LEAP, is available across these transport modes. The Transport for Ireland (TFI) app provides on-line timetables and further information for travellers. Dublin Bikes allows you to cycle through the city.
Travel to and from Dublin Airport
Dublin does not yet have a metro that facilitates a link into the city. You have two options:
- Bus – Dublin Express is a direct bus option
- Taxi – You can book a taxi transfer here, or alternatively, there is a taxi rank available outside of the airport. You should expect to pay between €25 and €40
